Dear all,
Due to tragic and
disturbing current situation in Mumbai, we would like to express
our concern and sorrow over lost of innocent lives , and give
you some security updates regarding terror attacks in Mumbai:
-
The area/hotels which
were targeted in terrorist attacks are mainly located in
Colaba (25 km from Bandra Kurla area where Grand Hyatt is
located)
-
Grand Hyatt and
surrounding area was not attacked and there were no
incidents registered.
-
It is the most
unfortunate coincidence that location of the upcoming
ADIT2009 conference was aimed in terrorist attack, but at
this point there are no indications of long term security
instability in the city.
-
We assure you that
security was and will remain the most important part of
conference organizing and that safety of delegates and
speakers is on our first priority.
-
Security situation in
India and Mumbai will be closely monitored in next few
months by Organizing board and PCO, and if necessary (if
security situation would deter) appropriate actions will be
taken on time.

We assure you that upon
site inspection and venue selection security was seriously
taken into consideration, and one of the reasons why we have
chosen Grand Hyatt as ADIT 2009 venue, was their high
security level.
