International Conference on Advances in Diabetes and Insulin
Therapy, which will be held in March 2009 in Mumbai, India,
organized under patronage of University Medical Center,
Ljubljana, Slovenia (www.kclj.si), and Vuk Vrhovac
University clinic, Zagreb, Croatia (www.idb.hr). The
scientific board is happy to present a program covering new
developments and new ideas concerning various aspects of
diabetes and insulin therapy in type 1 and 2 diabetes
treatment.
The main objectives of the first International Conference
on Advances in Diabetes and Insulin Therapy are to educate
and to create a platform for an exchange of opinions and
in-depth discussions on the latest developments in diabetes
and insulin therapy, and to stimulate research and
implementation of newest available technologies and
therapies in treating diabetes through plenary lectures,
abstracts, poster sessions and workshops. We have chosen
India, the cradle of world civilization, culture and
philosophy, to host the conference not only for its
thousands years of history, beauty and glory, but also
because India is facing a growing threat in Diabetes
extensive spread among population and is already ranking as
one of the worlds' most affected nations.
